Crowded Sites is a boutique web development shop that develops exclusively with WordPress. Actually, we’re kind of obsessed with the web. At times you’ll see us write, speak and tweet about the web and sustainable business. Sure, it can be a little much, but the good thing is, we really know what we’re talking about. We want to build you a great website that’s easy to use and that you’ll love for a long time.
When Crowded Sites began we talked a lot about what would set us apart from other companies and more importantly what we believed in. Those two ideas merged and we came up with our Six Founding Principles. These tenets provide the guidelines for how we do business every day.
quality is number one
Quality is our top priority. Our work should never be compromised by unrealistic timelines, false competition with our colleagues or continuous spec modifications. Quality does not equal over budget on time or cost. It means, we build the best possible website for the budget and if we do a little extra to make that website even better, then we do it. Our websites will stand the test of time with regard to workmanship and scalability.
always be learning
To stay stale and stagnant in the web industry is sure death. Every new trend, idea, concept or project, should be considered and if valid, acted upon. It is our responsibility to be up to date on the happenings in our industry and provide tools and resources for us and our clients so that they can excel in their business. We must answer the question, before it is asked, create solutions for future problems and initiate positive change whenever possible.

We will not over-design. We will not over-build. Our process will encompass diligent research to identify specific features that are needed that have the largest impact. We will provide solutions that address the needs and will limit, as much as possible, providing solutions that are over-complicated. If there is ever a time where a solution takes too long to implement, a decision will be made as to whether we abandon that solution or continue. Only the simplest solutions will survive.
expand naturally
We will always have new ideas. We will always need to move forward. The trick is to pick ideas that conform to our goals. Expanding naturally is about taking on new directions when it makes the most sense. By staying small we are forcing ourselves to only move forward on the best ideas and to only invest in the most eloquent solutions.

We will screw up, mistakes will happen, but we will always make it right. For every project our role is to make it successful. We will always work towards a resolution that satisfies the clients and our interests mutually. Our goal is to preserve every relationship while at the same time doing great work that everyone can be proud of.

To get you have to give. We have learned so much over the years, that we are in a unique position to provide important guidance to the public. With a gluttony of mis-information out there it is our obligation to share the correct information and get people on the right path. We will always teach.
